The Tsenov Academy of Economics was among the participants in the Graduate Barometer 2014 – European Edition, the most widespread survey for career, education and employers in Europe. 305 590 students from 914 educational institutions in 24 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain and North Ireland, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary, Finland, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden) participated in this years’ edition of the survey.

In the survey, in which anonymity is guaranteed, students are asked about the level of satisfaction regarding education in the respective university and for their adjustments and expectations concerning their future professional realisation.

The questionnaire survey covers a large number of key indicators in which the satisfaction of students with university activity is evaluated. Each one of these indicators has a corresponding percentage which is associated with a score on a scale from “poor” to “excellent”. According to the indicator for effectiveness in the survey, the Tsenov Academy of Economics obtained an “excellent” score from a large section of these, and as a percentage, the results from the Svishtov Higher School are higher in comparison with those for Bulgaria and Europe.


On basis of the indicators, the students from the Tsenov Academy evaluated their satisfaction with the university’s activity in Svishtov via a seven point scale (1- very satisfied, 7 – very unsatisfied) with a value of 2.5. Thus overall satisfaction with education at the Tsenov Academy registered a higher value compared to corresponding results for Bulgaria (3.0) and Europe (2.8).
