The Confederation of Trade Unions at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics is a member of the National Trade Union "Higher education and science"- KNSB.
We adhere to the following basic principles:

Voluntary membership;
Ensuring the right to join a trade union for each employee in the Academy of Economics;
Full democracy, openness and publicity in trade union activities;
Providing a plurality of ideas, opinions, suggestions and freedom of discussion;
Direct election of trade union leaderships in compliance with the mandate principle for all elected officials;
Tolerance and negotiation with the employer in order to maintain harmony and to search for a consensus on these issues.
Goal: To achieve high social status and prestige for the members of the Confederation of Trade Unions at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov
Objectives:
- To protect rights: free labour, professional development, training and retraining.
- To guarantee the right to free bargaining with the employer any conditions concerning employment and social affairs.
- To respect and uphold the consistent improvement of working conditions and protect the right to safe and healthy work conditions, a proper mode of work and leisure, social benefits and benefits in the case of illegal acts by employers.
- To provide timely advice and Labour Law protection for union members from unlawful activities.
