The project No. 101180427 “Heritage – multidisciplinary approach for better preservation” (Multi-Heritage2024) is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures programme, in cooperation between Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania) – Coordinator and six KreativEU alliance partners – Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal), D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria), University of South Bohemia České Budějovice (Czech Republic), University of Trnava (Slovakia), University of Camerino (Italy), and Adana Science and Technology University (Turkiye). Its budget is 60,000 EUR. The length of the project is 15 months, starting on 01/11/2024.

The funding supports the development of an innovative master programme entitled “Heritage – multidisciplinary approach for better preservation”. The programme will leverage the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary strengths of the KreativEU alliance to create a globally competitive educational initiative. It aims to address contemporary heritage preservation challenges through innovative methodologies while fostering cultural diversity, environmental conservation, and digital heritage technologies.

During the project, the consortium will design and accredit the curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and quality assurance protocols.

Expected outcomes include:

  • Joint student admission requirements and application, selection, monitoring, examination, and evaluation procedures.
  • Joint programme design and integrated teaching/training activities.
  • Common services offered to students, including language courses and visa support.
  • A joint promotion and awareness-raising strategy.
  • Joint administrative and financial management by the consortium.
  • A joint degree policy.
  • Drafting of a joint partnership agreement involving at least three higher education institutions from three different countries, with at least two from programme countries.
  • Drafting of a joint student agreement.
  • Adherence to the Standards for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
