D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics Svishtov took part in a Research Workshop on Innovation

Prof. Mariyana Bozhinova, PhD,  Assoc. Prof. Iskra Panteleeva, PhD and Assist. Prof. Aleksandrina Aleksandrova, PhD from the D. A. Tsenov  Academy of Economics Svishtov participated in a workshop organized under the implementation of the "Central European Network for Sustainable and Innovative Economy" project. The event took place from 16 to 17 June 2022, in Krakow, Poland, hosted by the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
 Scientists from the  6 partner universities - D.  A. Tsenov Academy, Poznan University of Economics and Business, University of  Szeged, University of Zagreb, the Czech University of Natural Sciences in  Prague and Prague University of Economics and Business took part in the event. Assoc. Prof. Robert Romanowski, PhD  - Coordinator of Innovation Management Study  Program at Poznań University of Economics and Business moderated the event and put the  focus on various innovative tools in the field of research and their  application in the process of delivering and publishing research results.  Participants discussed some common problems in the field of student education  related to the reintegration of students in the learning environment after the  COVID pandemic. On the second day of the workshop, the focus was on the  certification training in the field of educational innovations in teaching and  the application of the "Serious game play" method in student  training. It was conducted on the learning by doing principle, with teams from  partner organizations discussing current issues in the field of training and  generating ideas for overcoming them while performing the technical tasks set  by the moderator related to actually building a learning environment of the  future with Lego constructors under the "Serious game play" method.  All participants in the training received Certificates for participation.
During the closing event of the workshop, the hosts organized  a cultural and tourist tour of Krakow city. While the tour was going, in an  innovative way were presented innovations in the field of tourism and tourism  education and training for students. The participants in the workshop discussed  some ideas for the development and expansion of the CENETSIE network and future  joint initiatives to be implemented between the partnering organizations.
