Multi-Heritage2024 project meeting in Sinaia

The Multi-Heritage2024 project first in-person meeting took place from February 12 to February 15, 2025 in Sinaia, Romania.  The meeting brought together esteemed partners from Valahia University of Târgoviște (Romania),Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (Portugal), D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria), University of South Bohemia České Budějovice (Czechia), University of Trnava (Slovakia), Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University (Turkiye), and University of Camerino (Italy). Discussions centered on structuring the MultiHeritage Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme to meet international academic standards and labour market needs.

During the project meeting in Sinaia, key decisions were made regarding governance, accreditation, curriculum development, and student mobility. A unified accreditation model was agreed upon, ensuring a single diploma jointly issued by all partner universities. The curriculum will feature modular teaching, co-chaired courses, and interdisciplinary learning pathways, with students required to study in at least three different countries.
The partners have agreed upon on designing a programme which will emphasise practical training, internships, and international fieldwork, offering students direct engagement with heritage sites and institutions. Admission criteria, including language proficiency at B2 level and a flexible enrollment system, have been established to ensure accessibility and academic excellence.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to advancing the MultiHeritage Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme, ensuring it aligns with best practices, industry needs, and cutting-edge heritage education methodologies.

Next in-person meeting is scheduled for Tomar, Portugal, 12-13 May 2025.
