Representatives of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics took part in the second transnational meeting under the HERITAGE GAME project

Representatives of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics took part in the second in-person meeting under the project No. 2023-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000154261 “A gamification model for community-based heritage work” (HERITAGE GAME) of the Erasmus+ programme. The event was held on 11-13 September 2024 in Targoviste. It was hosted by Valahia University of Targoviste.

During the first day of the meeting, the partners discussed the results of the WP2: Best practices. The co-coordinators of the WP2 – Valahia University of Targoviste and D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics presented the collaborative work of the project teams – a synthesis study, A Guide to identifying best practices for gamification in cultural heritage and a thematic brochure on best practices, as well as they proposed some ideas for their distribution among various stakeholders. All partners reported their progress on their peer-reviewed publications. First day included a special session on the implemented and planned dissemination activities, as well as on the outcomes, quality assurance, and financial and budget issues.

During the second day of the meeting, the partners were involved in gamification activities. They visited and explored Brasov in a real-world exploration game.

Last day was focused on WP3: Model development. The co-coordinators of the WP3 - University of Trnava and University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice presented the content of a manual which is expected to be prepared. The partners discussed the proposed chapters and university-teams which will be responsible for their preparation.
