Investment Banking Analyst (Trainee)

Innimmo is a privately owned investment banking boutique, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Our team comprises of young professionals with a substantial depth of M&A and corporate finance experience. We are active in the following fields:

The Proposal
We are now seeking the best-qualified candidates (preferably recent graduates or last year students) to fill our current opening for a Trainee who will support our Investment Banking team. Innimmo provides the chance to gain relevant work experience and a unique insight into the organisation by project-based assignments. The traineeship is planned to last 3 to 6 months, but after this period a successful trainee would be offered a full time Analyst position at Innimmo. We offer a friendly environment and result-oriented style of work.
Job Description
The Trainee will be an integral member of our team and will work hands-on with the managing partners and the directors. Some of the tasks will include:
- perform analyses of financial statements and ratios;
- perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow and transaction comparables
- build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential mergers
- contribute to financial management and management accounting assignments for clients and portfolio companies (e.g. budgeting, financial reporting , cash management)
- perform desk research on markets, sectors, potential clients and business opportunities;
- draft market reports, business proposals, teasers and investment memoranda;
- prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings
- participate in feasibility studies and due diligence reports preparation;
- participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through to closing
The typical Innimmo trainee is involved in a variety of tasks that allows for unparalleled exposure to assignments, leading to professional growth. After the initial period with Innimmo you will have developed strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills. The Trainee will be encouraged to prioritize tasks independently, assume responsibilities and will become gradually involved in higher level decision support.
Requirements
Candidates must have the flexibility to work under tight time constraints (meet deadlines) and in a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. All candidates must have excellent numeracy skills, fluent English, perfect knowledge of MS Excel and standard office applications. They must be able to systematically filter and analyse high volumes of raw information and develop concise and professionally structured reports based on the results of their analysis.
